As a fully qualified and certified professional registered with the ADR International Register, I specialize in employment mediation. I work with both small and large businesses, government organizations, and higher education institutions to resolve workplace conflicts effectively and respectfully.

In the higher education sector, I mediate labor disputes and currently serve as ombudsperson at TU Delft. I previously held this position at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Erasmus University Rotterdam. I also advise on job classification disputes as a member of the Complaints Committee of the Parnassia Group.

With a background in law, I take into account labor legislation, collective labor agreements, and internal regulations that may be relevant. My experience as a former (substitute) judge allows me to assess how a conflict might be handled in court – a valuable perspective that strengthens the mediation process and leads to more lasting, well-balanced outcomes.

My sessions are structured and solution-focused, ensuring that the interests of both parties are uncovered efficiently and clearly. I aim to create a safe and equal environment where everyone feels heard and respected. I’m also trained in coaching and therapeutic skills, which help participants to navigate emotionally charged issues and sustain improved relationships after mediation ends.

In all my work, I embrace an inclusive approach. I highlight what unites people, while also recognizing the unique perspective each individual brings.
